9 inch laptops are currently designed and built by two different manufacturers in today's laptop market. The Asus Eee PC and the HP Mini-Note are the two 9 inch laptop computers that can be found at the online computer merchants listed further below. As ultra-light compact PCs continue to climb the ladder of popularity, it's likely more laptop manufacturers will soon join the 9 inch laptop computer market. 9 inch laptops are a perfect fit for frequent travelers or those who desire a low-priced lightweight laptop that can handle with no problems at all standard computer functions such as browsing the internet safely and wirelessly, checking and sending email, word processor and spreadsheet work, and saving or downloading a reasonable amount of files. For downloading larger files or saving an above-average amount of files be sure to check out the HP Mini-Note which come with a much larger hard drive capacity than the Asus Eee PC.
